BIM practice questions - frequently asked questions

Plain answers about how BIM Exam Prep works: the exam, the questions, pricing, the free trial, and what you actually get.

No - and you should be wary of any site claiming otherwise. Every question here is original, written to mirror the style, difficulty, and judgment the real BIM exam tests. Each one comes with a plain-language explanation of why the right answer is right and the others aren't.

The BIM exam spans 6 domains: Central Nervous System Manifestations (30% of the exam); Cognitive and Behavioral Dysfunction (20% of the exam); Psychiatric Manifestations (15% of the exam); Pain and Sleep Disorders (15% of the exam); Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Conditions (5% of the exam); Systemic Manifestations (15% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam. By share of the marks: Central Nervous System Manifestations 30%; Cognitive and Behavioral Dysfunction 20%; Psychiatric Manifestations 15%; Pain and Sleep Disorders 15%; Systemic Manifestations 15%; Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Conditions 5%.

The BIM exam has 280 questions and is completed in 7 hours. Our timed practice mirrors that length and pacing, so exam day feels familiar.
